DAYTON, OH -- The Ohio Department of Development has awarded $28 million to a proposed sensor technology hub that will anchor the city of Dayton's Tech Town area. The Institute for Development and Commercialization of Advanced Sensor Technology will use the funding to build and staff a research facility with academic, industry and federal labs. The University of Dayton raised $100 million necessary for the state to provide the funds, through its Third Frontier program.
